Aria Whisk has a cute boyfriend, amazing foster parents, some missing memories… but she’s happy.
But when Aria’s boyfriend’s brother, Tien (who happens to be a powerful fae captain) notices that she resembles their missing queen—like… an uncanny likeness—he asks her to travel through the portal to Faerie to save his precious Raven Court.
Going to Faerie sounds about as fun as taking her midterms. Both make her stomach churn. She politely declines, but Tien being the diligent fae captain he is won’t take no for an answer and kidnaps her.
Tien promises Aria’s captivity will be temporary if she can convince the kingdom she is their beloved queen, alive and well. But faeries aren’t all wings and pixie dust. Some lure you into their mounds to make you their dinner. Some want to drown you before they eat you. And some give you reasons that make you want to stay forever.
Even if she succeeds at being a royal, Aria might never make it back home.
